1. Information NourishPic AI may process
NourishPic AI is a nutrition tracking app. Depending on how you use the app, it may process:
- Food photos that you choose to take or upload for nutrition analysis.
- Meal details such as meal names, estimated calories, nutrition values, notes, and timestamps.
- Basic profile settings such as age, gender, language, and daily nutrition goals.
- Anonymous app identifiers used for Firebase-backed storage and local fallback behavior.
- Technical data such as analytics events, crash reports, device information, and notification tokens.
2. Food photos and AI analysis
When you scan food, NourishPic AI uploads the selected image to processing services so the app can estimate menu details and nutrition values. These estimates are provided for convenience and should be reviewed by you before saving. NourishPic AI is not medical advice and should not replace guidance from a qualified professional.
3. Storage and account behavior
NourishPic AI does not require social login. The app uses anonymous Firebase authentication internally so profile, goals, meal logs, and saved food photos can be stored under an anonymous user record when cloud storage is available. If anonymous sign-in or cloud storage is unavailable, the app may continue with local storage on your device.
4. Data retention and deletion
NourishPic AI retains your profile settings, goals, meal logs, nutrition values, notes, and saved food photos for as long as you keep them, until you delete them or ask us to delete the associated anonymous cloud data. You can delete saved meal entries in the app and remove local app data by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app. To request deletion of cloud-stored data, contact pegasus.th.soft@gmail.com and include enough information for us to identify the anonymous record. Limited copies may remain temporarily in provider backups for security, recovery, or legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
5. Analytics, crash reports, and notifications
NourishPic AI may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app reliability and diagnose crashes. If you allow notifications, the app may receive a notification token so messages can be delivered to your device. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.
6. Ads and third-party SDKs
The app includes AdMob configuration, but ads are currently disabled by default. If ads are enabled in a future build, advertising SDKs may process information needed to request, deliver, measure, or limit ads according to their own policies and platform requirements.
7. Sharing and service providers
NourishPic AI may share information with service providers that help operate the app, including cloud storage, image processing, AI analysis, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and advertising infrastructure when enabled. We do not sell your meal logs or food photos.
8. Your choices
- You choose whether to upload a food photo for analysis.
- You can review and edit meal details before saving them.
- You can manage notification permissions from your device settings.
- You can delete saved meal entries in the app, remove local app data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app, and request deletion of cloud-stored data by contacting us.
9. Children
NourishPic AI is intended for general nutrition tracking and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date above will be updated.
